Tamar Nandul is a policy adviser and development practitioner with expertise in business administration, property development, governance reform, social service delivery and crisis management. In her current role as Managing Director at the Kaduna Markets Development and Management Company, Tamar oversees the development of commercial real estate in underserved communities and, serves on the governing council of the Kaduna Capital Territory Authority and board of the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA).

Tamar aspires to use her opportunities in life to build resilience and peaceful coexistence in local communities through good governance, gender inclusion and delivery of critical infrastructure. Tamar is also the founder of The Aloe & Ivy Children’s Initiative, a civic organisation that advocates for the right of children to play.

Tamar holds postgraduate degrees from Kings College London, Nigerian Defence Academy and an undergraduate degree with honours from the University of Waterloo.
